By profession he is an Engineer in Electrical Department. He has served in NPDCL for 29 years in various positions like Managing Director for CESS, Sirisilla, Superintending Engineer, Operation, Karimnagar and retired as In-charge Chief Engineer in NPDCL. After his retirement he served as consultant for Power Finance Corporation Delhi for 18 months
